Eze erläutert die Pflichten, die den afrikanischen Staaten gemäß der "Afrikanischen Charta der Rechte der Menschen und Völker" auferlegt sind. Darüber hinaus erläutert er die Struktur und bisherige Arbeit der Afrikanischen Kommission und des Afrikanischen Gerichtshofs für Menschenrechte und die Rechte der Völker.

Ositadimma Chukwuemeka Eze has had an extremely illustrious career in the field of law having been a professor of law since 1981. His career has involved serving as the Dean of Law at Imo and Abia State Universities as well as the University of Uyo. He has also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Law at Rivers and Enugu State Universities respectively.
In addition to having served in several University Governing Councils, Professor Eze has acquitted himself academically with over 100 publications, including five books, notably, Human Rights in Africa (1984) which span the disciplines of law, international relations and economics.
These areas include Investment Law, International Organizations, Good Governance, Constitution, Human Rights, Economic Integration, Political Economy and Industrial Property Policy and Law.
Besides his academic achievements, Professor Eze has also served the Federal, Enugu State and Imo State governments in various capacities. He has been a guest lecturer at the prestigious Hague Academic of International Law (1976) and the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France (2004).
In addition, Professor Eze, who consults for numerous international organizations, including UN agencies and the World Bank, is currently the Director-General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Lagos, Nigeria.
